
Scramjet Engine: An Advance Breathing Engine

Scramjet Engine, a new breathable engine is known as an advance design of ISRO.
According to the ISRO team Scramjet Engine uses Hydrogen as in the form of fuel.
Scramjet is the short form of supersonic combustion ramjet engine which is designed by the scientist from the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
The modest engine of Scramjet takes Oxygen from the environmental-air and utilizes it as oxidizer.

From the test of Scramjet Engine India has achieved fourth position in the list of countries who have tested the engine so far. Countries such as the US, Russia and European Spacecraft have already got success in the test.
ISRO team has also said these engines are an advance mechanism over the existing rockets technology. In addition to the statement team ISRO said the new engines are much efficient as well as cheaper in cost.
These dynamic engines are different from any other rockets. Unlike any other rockets these conventional rockets do not carry fuel and liquid oxygen for propulsion.
