A Little Knowledge Is Dangerous
Editorials News | Nov-02-2020
Be it any stream of data, or any part of wisdom, in-depth knowledge of it's necessary to be ready to formulate an opinion or develop a thought line. Whether it's art, science, literature, politics, technology, communication, astronomy, computers, economics, administration, law, etc., or whether it's merely about life generally, one has got to have excellent, deep, and broad knowledge about it to be ready to discuss it—for or against. It is often necessary, needed, and demanded, especially in today's world where opinions are a challenge, and words need to pay the price.
An ill-informed soldier will get himself foolishly killed if he does not know war strategies alternatively will even more foolishly kill his comrades. An educator will instill absurd knowledge and inverted concepts if he has no real learning himself. An industrialist will also ruin his fortune as that of the others if he has no experience in his own business. A lawyer will destroy his client's fate without a thorough knowledge of law and legality. A dumb engineer's bridge is sure to collapse, and God saves a patient from a dumber doctor.
Therefore, it's always hazardous to believe such half-knowledge. It's somewhat better to possess no knowledge and learning that convince to be a fool with an incomplete one. Wise people are usually quiet when sports talk. And it's this blindness of fools to their lack of data which lets them remain in their benighted condition for the remainder of their lives. they're blind to their follies and, instead, cover them up with their superficial learning and hence close all doors for further education and advancement. An adviser is also fully informed about his ignorance to shovel away the cobwebs of his ignorance and enlighten himself with the weapon of data. (People with real wisdom are like those trees over-laden with fruit, which appears to be bending low so that everyone can enjoy their blessed fruits. it's the person of little learning who is haughty and self-conceited, standing erect sort of a dry and rotten tree which breaks but doesn't bend, hence, in turn, loses its very own existence.)
In this era of expert knowledge, a touch knowledge of the planet stands nowhere. One has got to keep oneself updated to be somewhere during this world. Moreover, where every word is spoken is accountable and scrutinized closely, one cannot escape with sweeping statements concealing shallow knowledge. it's been proved many times that words spoken with none real knowledge and reports given without proper understanding have often created trouble and controversy.
Words uttered thoughtlessly have created a mess which hatred often by apologies. Thus, if one wants to remain faraway from troubles, one has learned to remember one's world and continuously gather knowledge as readily as children enjoy collecting flowers during a garden during springtime.
