The central Board of Secondary Education has planned to discontinue the re-evaluation of answer sheets in school. As per the decision the provision of re-evaluation will not happen from 2017 onwards.
CBSE chairperson, R.K. Chaturvedi has confirmed that the officials are planning to set two committees. These newly formed committees will be divided in two sections out of which one will look after the existing law. On the other hand the second part of the committee will determine the structure of the examinations stated the Chairperson.
The officials have also found some loop holes in the schools certification system. As per the officials many schools have caught red handed while providing transfer certificates during the mid session.
As per the data by the officials the annual number of the students applied for re-evaluation is very low and so are the beneficiaries. To solve the issue, the officials are also planning to conducts online examination for the upcoming central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
This digitization will not only improve the quality of teachers but will also help the students to get digital copies of their certificates. To add some more transparency in the education system the CBSE Board is also planning to create availability of audio visual content for students.
