Clay Fiend Rafael Nadal Found Second Home At US Open

Rafael Nadal's recent coronation was his 19th Grand Slam title which was reinforced by the fact the slower courts of the US Open and his obliging knees turned New York into a land of opportunity.
Unlike at his beloved Roland Garros victory it did not arrive overnight for Rafael Nadal on the unforgiven hard courts of the US Open, where he surged to within a title of Roger Federer's all-time men's Grand Slam singles record on Sunday. Nadal said that he thinks at the beginning of his career have been some tough moments here where losing matches was common.
During that span, Nadal can claim at least one singles title at the another three majors, but it was not until his eighth visit to the Flushing Meadows that he could get his hands on an elusive US Open trophy.
"Since a long time ago, every time when I came here I felt very comfortable. I felt very competitive and felt fighting for the big things," Nadal told during his run to second US Open title in three years.
"I feel comfortable here, I like the atmosphere of this place, I like the crowd. I feel a big energy when I am playing in this Arthur Ashe Stadium."
Sports is all about winning and losing and Nadal with his never giving up spirit wins everyone’s heart.
