Friends Influence Children's Fear of Danger

A team of researchers from the University of East Anglia have analyzed that close friends may influence children's fear or phobias. The study was based on whether best friends' fear responses have an impact on each other when beliefs and attitude towards avoidance of potential danger are concerned.

Through the study, the scientists have revealed that close friends show parallel patterns of fear-related thoughts. Furthermore, it has been observed by the scientists that children’s fear responses are influenced by each other when they discuss such issues.

The scientists have claimed that experiencing fear over some issues are frequent in children and it usually disappears with age. Additionally, the scientists have explained that often some children hold the problem for the lifetime that could harm their daily life. Moreover, these fear related issues contribute to issues such as childhood anxiety and may go on even after their transition into adulthood.
