The world is full of surprises and the tiny attractive hummingbird is the gift that nature has kept inside like a precious gem. Now, we are saying so, because most of us have seen the nest of a hummingbird. A hummingbird builds their home/nest with perfection. Like a jewel, the nest of this bird is one of the great wonders of nature. The nest of a hummingbird looks like another bump on a branch.
These attractive nests resemble a plant down and fibers with a tiny knot. In fact, there are 17 hummingbird species. These species breed in North America builds a little diverse nest in various habitats. Additionally, the eggs of a hummingbird are about the size of navy beans. Most females lay two eggs, which they hatch for 15 – 18 days.
People who love hummingbird keep nectar plants to their garden that attracts hummingbirds. However, these tiny creatures depend on a different set of plants for nesting materials. Thus, planting several plates encourage these birds to nests nearby.
