Editorials News | Jul-28-2018
Hip Hop music is a genre of music that was developed in the US by African-Americans and Latino youth in the 1970's. This kind of music can be heard at various places like club, school dance etc. It is very popular. Here's how you can dance hip-hop in five easy steps:
- Stand with feet shoulder width apart: It is a neutral position that makes it easy to try any dance move. The knees should be slightly bent and not be stiff as this would make you comfortable to try out any dance step.
- Wear clothes that are comfortable. You should be able to relax so it's important that you put on some loose fitting clothing that makes easier for practicing. Wear shoes that make it easier for your legs to move. Shoes that catch on the ground too hard can be uncomfortable.
- Arms should be kept at side. The arms should be nice and loose and should stay relaxed during the music. You should not cross your arms or fidget with them.
- Rock you hips. This is an important part of hip-hop. Hips needs to be kept loose so as to move right, left, front and back with the flow of music. This is one of the first things to keep in mind as you become ready to do some killer moves.
- Start Moving. Now, all you need is to lose yourself to the flow and relax. Just dance with the beats.
