IAF Abhinandan Varthman’s Mannequin Placed In Pakistan Air Museum Holding Tea Cup

In the time where India and Pakistan relations are not going too good meanwhile Pakistan has placed mannequin of IAF Abhinandan Varthman in Pakistan Air Museum with tea cup in his hand. Abhinandan Varthman who was flying Mig21 Bison aircraft was shot down by Pakistan on 27th February where the plane was scrambled. Abhinandan plane was attacked during the counter attack in the reply of Balakot airstrike in February, he was flying MiG 21 Bison and was chasing F-16 fighters of Pakistan which came into Indian airspace and in that process his plane crossed to Pakistan borders. Pakistan soldiers tried to ask about all the information but Abhinandan stood strong and did not reveal any secret information. Also he was offered tea in the cup and he also complicated the tea that’s the reason why cup was placed in the museum. Pakistan soldiers firstly treated him badly but then he was normally asked about why he was here? Who sent him? He answered nothing to all the questions asked and told “I am not allowed to give this information”. It happened for the first time that any soldier who went there was returned by Pakistan in such a short duration. Lodhi journalist of Pakistan media in twitter said that Pakistan Air museum placed mannequin in museum and he also commented that there should be a cup placed besides stating about FANTASTIC cup of tea. A Twitter post by Pakistan journalist and political commentator Anwar Lodhi shows a photo of the mannequin of the IAF brave heart. Just ahead of the World Cup match between India and Pakistan, an advertisement on a Pakistan channel featured a distasteful spoof on Abhinandan, which came under heavy backlash on social media. This advertisement was gone viral as it was during the captivity of Abhinandan. IAF Abhinandan was kept treated with respect and also he was not bitten or beinf tortured. Abhinandan was returned back after two days of captivity in Pakistan through Wagha-Attari border. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan also stated the release of Abhinandan as “peace gesture”.
