India or China: The Next Superpower

Amidst this coronavirus pandemic, there has been a heated debate around the emergence of subsequent superpowers within the world, that might have the potential to work out the longer-term trajectory of the planet. Since world war II, America has been ruling over nations, be it in terms of economic power, military power, or production capacity.

The USA has had tons of strong gains and became an earmark of a superpower; However, the devastation caused by the pandemic has surrendered the USA. On the opposite hand, China has already found its way through, and because it is the manufacturing hub and therefore the world’s supply chain belongs there. Every country, even the USA is hinging on China for various medical equipment, testing kits, electronics, etc. It's a golden opportunity for the dragon to emerge as a superpower and rule this world.

China has always aspired to be in power. It's unduly influenced global bodies just like the United Nations, alongside increasing its military footprints by funding countries like Pakistan. In this context, India has built itself as a flagship nation for building a prosperous and sustainable world. Consistent with the worldwide competitive index, India is that the best economy in South Asia, it's the foremost competitive environment in services like pharmaceuticals, defense, biotechnology, medical, and tourism.

Right now, it's particularly ripe for market reforms due to the solid platform created by Make in India and Invest India initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India has massive potential to grow. It's enough manpower, technical skills, resources, etc. to supply those products which China produces now. Unlike China, the planet can confidently believe India.
