LaLiga Club To Give Scholarship To Indian Football Kids

LaLiga, the Spanish football club had recently announced that to uplift the football sports spirit in India it will be awarding several Indian students who has the talent and passion for football, the 'LaLiga Football Schools Scholarship' will start annually from the current session which is 2018/19 season onwards.

The students under this scholarship scheme will get selected within the LaLiga's grassroots development programme in India, conducted in the LaLiga Football Schools and then such students will be sent to Spain for a good period of time who will there receive a high quality training at official place of LaLiga club academy, confirmed by the head officials of the club. The scholarships programme is for the welfare of the sport which is sponsored to be awarded in association with the Embassy of Spain in India and India On Track club. These students will be selected via a specified scouting process which will be conducted every year around Diwali, in which around 32 players will be shortlisted. The final phase of the selection process will be held the in the month of January every year in the LaLiga Football schools located in the metro cities location. The students that are selected will travel to LaLiga Club, Spain for a football experience starting from May each year and will get training from the one of the best football club of Spain, LaLiga's club academies and would get a chance to share the training ground with few Spain's current best young players, said the reports. LaLiga league is considered as one of the most popular professional football leagues in the world, with an average attendance of 26,983 for the football league matches in the recent past season of 2017–18. LaLiga has conspired a total of 62 teams who have competed since its inception. Till now 9 teams have become champions, with Real Madrid a team winning the title 33 times which is a record and Barcelona won it 25 times. Barcelona and Real Madrid are the dominating teams in this fascinating championship since the late 1950s, whereas its best team Real Madrid is winning four La Liga titles every decade. Real Madrid is dominating La Liga from the 1960s till the 1980s. From the 1990 and onward, Barcelona has dominated La Liga since then, winning 15 titles since 1990. Although Real Madrid has been the second prominent team after Barcelona, winning 8 titles
