Malaysian EdTech Startup That Is Solving Hard Math Equations With Games

Learning mathematics is now easy and fun. This is a huge sigh for students who have math fear. Zapzapmath, a startup founded by Wei Chong, Max Teh and Adam Goh is helping children from kindergarten to grade 6 to solve math problems using skill games. They are on a mission to make the subject more fun and engaging by bringing in new and exciting games. Hong Kong based Teh talked about his app at an interview that they want to change the way children think about Maths.

Education system has caused a huge burden on the students these days. Majority of children find dealing with studies challenging. They face anxiety and fear especially when it comes to math. They are not interested in completing their homework. Also, the standards of the subject have significantly dropped mainly because kids have other options in their hand.

Growth of Zazapmath:

After just 3 months of the launch, the app had tons of downloads from US. So, the company started their growth in the US market by talking to teachers and schools. Teachers gave them a lot of encouragement. They liked the app and gave advices on how to improve. Then they took a whole of 6 months to come up with the full product. Once they launched the full product, they never had to look back.

Right now, the app has a B2B version which involves schools and there is also a B2C version which caters to parents.
