Montfort School, Ashok Vihar & The Shri Ram School, Aravali won the finals under Primary category of boys & girls respectivel

After the weekend, Day 5 began on a fresh note of energy & enthusiasm. The first match for the day was the Semi Final between The Shri Ram School, Aravalli and Modern School, Vasant Vihar in the Primary Girls Category. It was an exciting match that saw The Shri Ram School, Aravalli winning the game by 8 Points.
Next in line was the Final Match between R. S. Junior Modern School, Barakhamba Road and Montfort School, Ashok Vihar in the Primary Boys Category. The boys from Montfort had the game in their favour right from the beginning and finally won it by 5 Points. However, the finals of Primary Girls Category saw the competition between two sister schools, i.e., The Shri Ram School, Aravali and The Shri Ram School, Vasant Vihar, competed against each other in the Primary Girls Category, with the former defeating the latter by 6 Points.
The players representing Montfort School were on Cloud 9 after their convincing victory. Their jubilant shrieks echoed all through the venue, Ramjas School, R.K.Puram.
Mr. Nirula, Coach, Montfort School, Ashok Vihar, seemed quite unperturbed after his Team’s victory and on being asked about how he felt, he said “I have been in this field for many years, so, it is very normal for me.” He also added that winning had become a habit with his Team.
The third match for the day was between the host school, Ramjas School, R.K.Puram and St. Thomas, Mandir Marg in the Junior Girls Category. The match started with great anticipation by the students of the host school. However, the match ended in favour of St. Thomas, Mandir Marg who won by 14 Points disappointing the audience.
In the next game, braving the humidity and the heat the Junior Girls of D.P.S., Mathura Road defeated the Girls of Srijan School, Model Town by 26 Points. On the other hand, New Green Field School, Alaknanda, made things much easier for Shiv Nadar, Noida by not reporting to the venue on time for the match in the Junior Girls Category. Hence, it was a cake walk for the girls of Shiv Nadar into the next qualifying round.
This walk over marked the end of the day.
