NASA Providing Math Lessons

Space Math is a NASA website which consists of Maths lessons based on the theme of space. These are meant for students studying in the elementary schools by the students of the high school.

Maths and science are closely related to each other. Mathematics forms a very crucial role in scientific inventions and discoveries. Every time some initiative is taken by NASA in the field of space, they also take the initiative of highlighting that in what way has mathematics contributed to it. For the same they have developed a website also. The website contains titles and links to recent news announcements in chronological order, together with their related math problems. According to one’s grade and level, one has to search the website to find out the relevant content. The study material is available in the pdf format. On the other hand the middle school (grades 6-8) resources include the use of some of NASA eClips videos. The lessons available help the students use some free apps on their smartphones to record data and learn about sound, light, radiation, and magnetism. These lessons are indeed a good option for an integrated science and mathematics lesson.
