Nikola Tesla - Evolution of Electrical System
Editorials News | Jun-22-2018
Nikola Tesla was born on 10th July, 1856 and he is widely known for designing the alternating current (AC) electric system, which even today is dominating the electrical system all across the world. He created the Tesla coil which is used in radio technology by many radiologists. Nikola Tesla worked along with Thomas Edison when he first came to the United States in 1884 but later they both parted ways.
All through his career, he discovered various ideas and implemented them in his inventions. His inventions were officially patented by other inventors like dynamos which is an electrical generator just like batteries and the other invention called induction motor. The widely used X-ray technology, radar technology, rotating magnetic field and remote control were all invented by Nikola Tesla which was also the basis of his AC machinery. In 2003, Tesla motors were found, a car company which was named after Nikola Tesla to build the first fully electric-powered car. This company was found by a group of engineers which received a 30 million dollar contribution from entrepreneur and engineer Elon Musk who is also the co-founder of the company. The first electric car named Roadster was unveiled in 2004 which was a high performance sports vehicle and it helped in changing the idea of basic electric car. Nikola also started his free electric project because he became obsessed with the wireless transmission of energy. In 1900, he started working on his project which will provide a global and communication system to the world. The main aim of this project was to share information and provide free electricity throughout the world. Nikola Tesla died on 7th January, 1943 in New York City due to a nervous breakdown which followed the closure of his free energy project. Tesla returned to his work but gradually his ideas became more impractical which led him to a powerful death.
