Pankaj Advani Retains Asian Billiards Title

Pankaj Advani pockets ninth National Billiards Title Pankaj Arian Advani is a 19 time World Champion English Billiards and Snooker player from India. He has received many awards so far such as the Arjuna Award in 2004, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna in 2006, Padma Shri in 2009 and Padmabhushan in 2018. He also received a hat-trick of hat-tricks in English billiards, holding the World, Asian and Indian National Championship titles simultaneously, in three different years: 2005, 2008 and 2012 and recently in 2017.

Lately, he became a snooker professional in 2012. In the Asian Billiards Championship, he defeated his practice partner B Bhaskar by 6-1 and remains  the reigning Indian , Asian and World Champion in Billiards for 2017-2018. It is the 11th gold medal that Advani has backed at the Asian level of cue sports. Everyone who witnessed his game was left awestruck at his top quality billiards. His final scored were as follows: 102, 83, 94, 96 and 99. He turned the game in his favour in the fourth and fifth frame. He ended his game by scoring a world class 99 and resultantly sealed the championship in his favour yet again.
