Planet Of Dinosaurs
Editorials News | Sep-29-2019
Dinosaurs are one of the diverse groups of reptiles of the evolutionary category Dinosaurian that was firstly seen during the late Triassic period. Dinosaurs dominated Earth for nearly 200 million years. There is just something special about them that seem to capture the imagination. Either through movies, books, artwork, museums, or any number of other human activities, we continually find new ways to express that love for Earth’s former inhabitants.
1. Divided
All dinosaurs come under one or two subdivisions: Ornithischia and Saurischia. Present-day some birds evolved from Saurischia, which shows their common features, such as hollow bones.
2. Birdy
It is widely agreed upon by the scientific community that many dinosaurs almost certainly evolved into birds. Dinosaurs evolving into birds had taken place certain times throughout history but it wasn’t always successful. A perfect example of this is the feathered Microraptor that has no living descendants.
3. Luke Warm Blooded
Most dinosaurs were cold-blooded, similar to their modern-day lizard cousins, new evidence suggests that some dinosaurs were, quiet similar to warm-blooded like mammals. Representing that their environment did not regulated. This was only the case with a certain number of dinosaurs, but most of them were predatory in nature.
4. Outnumbered
Some predators like the T-Rex and Spinosaurus are the first that are conjured up when we think of dinosaurs, they were the minority. Plant-eating dinosaurs heavily outvoted the meat eaters, but prey dinosaurs don’t look as cool as predators.
5. Dumb Dumbs
Dinosaurs are not famous for their intelligence. Some plant eaters, like the Stegosaurus, had brains so small as compared to their body-size, they might as well have been walking plants. On the other hand, Predatory dinosaurs may require sharp eye-sight, a powerful sense of smell, and Olympian agility to catch their prey. All these things require more brain power than hunting plants, which can be healthy and all, but is objectively very easy. Also, even the smartest dinosaur was about as smart as the modern day Ostrich, which isn’t very smart at all.
