Pollution And Mother Earth

Mankind is suffering from great environmental threats, global warming, water pollution, air pollution, depletion of fossil fuels, deforestation, burning forest and many more. We humans have turned so selfish that our very own existence is at stake and we are still hoping that there will be a miracle to save us from this disaster, Amazon forest burned for weeks there were lot of media coverage, social media was filled with what was happening in Amazon but incidents pass by and we humans ignore the threat upon us, water level is increasing at a rapid state because ice berg in Antarctica is melting by kilometers, people are suffering from flood, ecosystem is being destroyed and all of this because of human greed, we as humans have failed mother earth, when we look back at the time of big bang we can see our mother earth is the survivor of all calamities, for formation of life on earth it has been a challenge for nature to do so. After the extinction of dinosaurs, earth’s atmosphere was covered with smoke and ash but still life was saved in water, making life extinct on land dinosaurs were the longest rulers of earth. They ruled for more than million years but still didn’t harmed the nature, but we as humans have failed to do so we are the smartest form of species but we in thousand years have brought so much damage to nature that our existence is at stake, change in climate can be observed across the globe, India has suffered the most from air pollution and water pollution, capital of India is suffering from fresh water and clean air people are suffering from diseases that are sometimes proved to be lethal, due to air pollution in Delhi more than million people are suffering from lungs disease, international actor and environmentalist Leonardo di Caprio published the article on Delhi’s mountain of garbage which killed two people when it collapsed. It also produces harmful gases which made the air of Delhi more harmful.
It’s a time when we all are running behind technology and development but we all should understand that in last it is always a matter of survival, first priority should be given to quality of living rather than standard of living, we still can achieve a lot more but we all need to work together in making a cleaner and greener earth so that our future generations could get the taste of real nature and enjoy the things what we are enjoying and enjoyed in past. Save earth, save life.
