
Pratima Sherpa Receives Private Lessons from Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods was born in 1975 in Cypress, California. He is an American professional golfer who is among the most successful golfers of all time. Following an outstanding junior, college, and amateur career, Woods was 20 years old when he turned professional at the end of summer in 1996. He has been one of the highest-paid athletes in the world for several years. Lately, he has decided to give private lessons to teenage golfer from Nepal. 8-year-old Pratima Sherpa hails from Nepal and has lived her entire life in a maintenance shed off the third hole at a golf club in Nepal. Her parents work on the course's grounds crew. Sherpa aims and dreams of becoming the first professional female golfer of Nepal. Woods in an interview revealed that he is absolutely stunned by the story of this little 8 year old girl. Also, he is extremely happy to meet her. Sherpa received a private, 30-minute lesson at the back of the driving range. She used Woods's clubs and hit barefooted -- before joining the rest of the group for the full clinic. Sherpa is extremely happy and feels that she is fortunate enough to receive such an opportunity.
