Presidential Vs Parliamentary Form Of Government

Government is necessary not because man is naturally bad, but because man is by nature more individualistic than social.

Government, the political and authoritarian system by which the countries are administered and governed. The government normally consists of the legislative, executive, and judiciary. Every government has its constitution, which contains the principles and philosophy of the country. There are various forms of a government like a monarchy, aristocracy, parliamentary, presidential, tranny, etc. The two main widespread forms of government are the Presidential and the Parliamentary forms of the government which are governed by the President as the supreme head and the Prime Minister as the supreme head respectively. In the 21st century, almost all countries have an organized form of government.

The Presidential Government is followed in counties like Germany, Italy, France, etc. The system has one single executive who is not accountable to the legislative by its dividing power. The People outside the legislative are elected as ministers. The President can not dissolve the lower house hence, the system has the benefit of having stability in the country providing fixed tenures for everyone. There is only one house of the people which follows the civil code of law.

The Parliamentary Government is followed in countries like India, United Kingdom, Japan, Denmark, etc. The system follows a dual executive who is accountable to the legislative. Only the members of the parliament can be appointed as ministers. Prime Minister has the power to dissolve the lower house before its expiry hence, the system fails to achieve the responsibility of the citizens. There are two houses one is the house of the people and the other is the council of ministers both following the common code of law.

Every system whether it's Presidential or Parliamentary has its pros and cons but it's upon the government which system to follow according to the benefit of all. Every country is different in its structure, population, and culture, so it's necessary to understand the country's needs. Hence, comparing the two systems just on their benefits and disadvantages won't give you the best, one has to follow try to follow the system and then make the changes. A country like India is doing great with a Parliamentary form of government just the thinking of ministers has to be questioned. There is no comparison between the system, it's just that the one who is running the nation knows how to make the best of it.
