Reconnecting with what I need: Self- Care the double way.

Self-care is the heating topic of this era but it is often poorly explained. It seems vague to you but it is very important to understand the importance of self- care. So, what is self-care and why is it important? There are many self-care practices but that doesn’t suit all.
Self-care in a nutshell, it’s about being as kind to yourself as you would be to others. It's about saving yourself before draining all. At the same time, it is important to know that not everything which feels good is self -care. Taking care of yourself, your body, health, and mental well-being is as important as keeping yourself physically fit and also to perform better in the long run and to be able to help others better. And to keep going until you reach your goals and dreams.
A healthy self-love means we don’t owe any justification to ourselves or others why we take vacations, why we sleep late, why we buy new shoes, why we spoil ourselves from time to time. We feel comfortable doing things which add quality and beauty to our life. A good day or the best day in someone’s life can be the day when he/she realizes that whatever they are doing is making them better and the feeling of zeal is there. When you recover or discover something that nourishes your soul and brings beauty and joy in your life. These are some of the elements which are needed in a person’s life which generally get ignored.

Self- care brings Better Productivity, when you learn to say ‘No’ you make rooms for other important things in your life that matters more, which automatically sort your life more.
Also, with Better health care, you get better physical health which extends your life too and keeps you away from mental and physical disease.
When you regularly carve out time that only about being good to yourself enhanced self-esteem, specifically, you treat yourself like you matter. Which ultimately brings joy and beauty in your life.

Types of Self Care

Emotional self- care is about knowing and connecting more to your emotions. Not ignoring your outburst, your happiness, your sadness, etc. It is more about respecting your emotions and taking care so that you can calm down
Sensory self-care is all about helping to calm your mind. When you can think about your surroundings more, its easier to live in the present moment.
Social self-care can differ according to a person’s personality as it can be different for extroverts and introverts. However, connecting with people is always a good choice. It helps you to understand that you are not alone.
