Recycled Plastic Is Horrible For The Environment

According to a new report by The Guardian, when plastic waste is deposited on recycling bin, they are likely to travel around the world, where they can be a risk to the health and safety of developing countries.
The planet is being buried under the plastic: the beaches are full of it and the marine life is choking. A new report is coming into light which shows that we are drinking a large amount of a credit card plastic every week in our drinking water. Needless to say, recycling is a superb idea.
Until it is done wrong, the plastic bottles that are deposited in a recycling bin in the streets of New York are not always destructed and crafted into a new product. Sometimes, it ends up around the world in someone's backyard, taking over the decade of supermarket bags and snack bags.
Around 1 million tons of plastics is shipped by US overseas every year. Much of that plastic is used to end up in China, where it was recycled, that is, until the country abruptly stopped the amount of imports of plastic product waste in 2017 comprising Bangladesh, Laos, Ethiopia and Senegal, according to the Guardian.
Last year, around 68,000 shipments of plastic waste are shipped from the United States. For example, Malaysia incorrectly discharges or discards 55% of its own plastic waste, however, it receives more recyclable materials from the United States than any other country, they wrote. According to the report, 20% to 70% of plastic waste which goes to recycling facilities worldwide is unusable and discarded as waste, as per the report.
In recent years, people have begun to reduce the consumption of plastic, as we have realized the effects that plastic can have on the environment and our oceans. But although most people do not have to be returned to the environment, there are many who do not know how much plastic ends up in our oceans.
The amount of plastic in the water that grows, affecting wildlife and humans alike.
How much plastic is there in the ocean?
Although it is difficult to identify, it is also possible, at the same time, through the microparticles, and the quantity. Eight million metric tons of plastic have been obtained. It is estimated that 150 million metric tons currently circulate in our oceans.
To put that number in perspective, the amount is equivalent to a garbage truck full of plastic that throws plastic into the ocean every minute. And only that number is expected to increase as plastic production and consumption continue.
According to the Ocean Conservancy, in less than 10 years, the results indicate that there will be 250 million metric tons in the ocean and by 2050 there will be more information in the oceans than fish.
