You must be aware of the game, Tambola, also known as Tombola, Indian Bingo or Housie. We all have so many memories associated with this game. Tambola is a popular game which is believed to be originated in Italy in the early 1500s.

The game is a fun to play and is further very easy to learn. All of us might have played Tambola at our family, social gatherings, office get-togethers, exciting kitty parties and society events. Here are some interesting facts related to this game.
Tambola is one such game that can be played in various different ways depending on its competency level. American version of Tambola is known as ‘Bingo’ and it is little bit different from Tambola.
Each player must have to buy at least one ticket for entering a game. Tambola is played with 1to 90 numbers that are being called out once at a time and players are further striking out those numbers on the tickets that they own. In overall it contains 27 spaces that are arranged in nine columns and three rows. Each row consists of five numbers and four blank spaces. Furthermore, each column contains up to three digits, with someof the variation that depends on Bingo or Tambola companies and/or wherever the game is being played. The first column consists numbers from 1 to 9 or 10, the second column numbers from 10/11 to 20, the third, 20 or 21 to 30 and so on up to the last column of the board, which contains numbers between 81 to 90. The game starts with a ball draw.
As the game moves, the board is marked with each ball drawn. The main objective of the game is to mark/ dab all the numbers that are found in the ticket by the dealer. The player who first mark all the numbers in a winning pattern and calls a win is declared as the WINNER of that pattern after the dealer checks his ticket and verify it with numbers drawn. If your claimed winning pattern is wrong, it will be called BOGUS and you cannot continue the game with the same ticket.
