Six Months In Lockdown

It has been more than one and a half years that the whole world is suffering from the pandemic, that is, “Novel Corona Virus” or “Covid -19”. The Novel Corona Virus was first discovered in Wuhan, China. The first case of Novel Corona Virus disease was noticed from the seafood market of Wuhan city, in Hubei Province of China in mid of December 2019 and from there it has been spread all over the world. The virus has spread to 215 countries, territories, areas, and worldwide. Later, when the cases of covid-19 were also founded in different countries the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared that the covid-19 is the Public Health Emergency of International Concern on 30th January 2020, and later on 11th March 2020 WHO declared covid-19 as a pandemic.
In India, the lockdown was declared on 24th March 2020 in the evening by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. When the cases were approximately 500 our Prime Minister Instinctly declared total lockdown in India to control the spread of covid-19. The first lockdown in India was for 21 days and then it was extended phase by phase till 31st May 2020. During that lockdown period, we all were scared of the virus so we all just followed the safety precautions suggested by the experts. And we all were somewhere excited that we have 21 days of holiday and after so long as a family will be together our parents get a chance to contact with their children. And all of us get a new way of studying at home through online classes. In our busy world, we all get a chance to interact with our neighbors and our family members.
The pandemic has caused panic worldwide but on the other hand, it has provided a lot of benefits like bringing family closer, people started interacting with each other. Now, we all have adopted to live with this virus following all the necessary precautions in living a new life following the norms and following the motto “Stay Home Stay Safe”.
