Study Finds When To Eat Has Equal Importance As What To Eat

A new study has found that the pleasure center that is in our brain and our brain's biological clock are both linked, and these high-calorie foods can bring pleasure and also have tendency of disruption of normal feeding schedules which result in the overconsumption.
Also further coinciding with this kind of increase in weight are ever-rising rates that result in heart disease, cancer, diabetes and also health complications that are caused by obesity, such as hypertensions. Even Alzheimer's disease may be partly attributable towards obesity and physical inactivities.
Ali Güler who is a professor of biology at the University of Virginia has said that the diet in the U.S. and also other nations has changed dramatically since the last 50 years or so, with highly processed foods that are readily and cheaply available at any time of the day or even night. Also any of these foods are very high in sugars, carbohydrates and calories content and this makes for an unhealthy diet whenever consumed regularly over the many years.
In a study that got published recently in the journal Current Biology, Güler and his colleagues have demonstrated that the pleasure center of our brain which is responsible for producing the chemical dopamine, and also the brain's separate biological clock that regulates daily physiological rhythms, are connected, and that high-calorie foods -- which result in bringing pleasure and disrupting normal feeding schedules that results in overconsumption.
