The 5G Network Will Soon Blow Our Minds

In the present world of technological advancements each day we see better and more technologically advanced techniques and networks around us. 2020 is just about to arrive. It is predicted that in 2020 the 5G wireless network will be easily and broadly available.

Fully functioning 5G network will totally change the scenario of the world. The responsiveness of the 5G network is predicted to be even faster that one’s brain. The 5G network makes use of millimetre wave portion of the spectrum which ranges between 30 GHz and 300 GHz. It faces slight problem in moving through solid objects like buildings and trees and covers smaller areas as compared to 4G. On the other hand it covers distance with much larger speed and capacity. There will be need of portable tower to transfer the 5G signals. The present day 4G tower can support about 2000 connections at a time. With the 5G coming up almost 1,000,000 connections per square kilometre can be taken care of. The NYU wireless founding director conducted a research in which it was proved that 5G signals can work in an open school environment perfectly. A lot of tests and were conducted for this. He stated that even the rural areas will also derive a large number of benefits from the 5G networks. The copper wires that have been used since times immemorial will be replaced with wireless fibres. The main thing is that the MM wave signals can cover beyond our expectations that is up to 10 km approximately. All this will take a bit of time reaching all over the nation but the K-12 IT leaders have to start preparing now. K-12, a term used in education and educational technology in the United States, Canada, and possibly other countries, is a short form for the publicly-supported school grades prior to college. These grades are kindergarten (K) and the 1st through the 12th grade (1-12). Over all the education leaders and researchers are extremely about excited about the future that will consist of the 5G technology and will bring augmented reality and virtual reality in day to day usage. Virtual meetings 3-D imaging, AR, VR will be commonly used. Rappaport stated that the 5G network can give us the ability to interact in a tactile way with remote objects with virtually no latency, even across great distances. 5G teaching and learning technologies are probably being developed in start-ups as we speak.
