The Biggest Children's Film Festival Will Be Hosted By Lucknow

Lucknow, the Uttar Pradesh capital will host the biggest children's film festival in which many eminent personalities from India and abroad will be present. This is a nine-day fest which will start from April 4th and is being organized by the City Montessori School (CMS), the world's largest city school as per the Guinness World Records, CMS Founder Jagdish Gandhi said on Tuesday.

During this amazing and grand fest, educational and entertaining children's films from 101 countries will be screened. He added that the entry is free for this fest. Cash prizes worth Rs 10 lakh will be awarded to the films in many categories by a jury which includes Nils Mamros from Denmark, Lali Kiknavelidze from Georgia, Vidyashankar N. Nois and Shyama Prasad and Vinod Ganatra from India.

The director of International Children's Film Festival, Varghese Kurian said that many Bollywood stars, child actors and other renowned personalities including Anushka Sen, Japtej Singh, Rudra Soni, Aman Siddiqui, Rubal Jain, and Darsheel Safari will attend this event.

Showcasing the aims and objectives of this fest, Gandhi said films were a unique method of teaching human values to children. He also said that as films are informative, educational as well as entertaining.
