
The Disastrous Hurricane Irma Shocked America

The recent weather report said that Hurricane Irma is found to be one of the most powerful Atlantic Hurricanes ever. The record books have already considered Hurricane Irma as Category 5 disaster. Its sustained winds travel at a speed of 175 miles per hour. It has been measured by its wind speed. When the hurricane first struck the Atlantic, Irma found to be with a sustained speed of 185 mph winds for more than 24 hours.
It is the highest record length of time for a hurricane in the Atlantic. Irma remained to be category 5 storms for more than 2 days which is also nearly a record. Reports told that Irma will make a landfall in Southern Florida as a hazardous major hurricane. Much of the State is going to get affected by the strong winds and it will bring life threatening storm gush. A prediction of 5-to-10 feet of storm surge has been made by hurricane center.
