Value of Sports and Games

Whenever any student of class 8th or higher goes to play, their family members ask them not to play and also ask them not to waste their time playing games or other sports. Or whenever someone asks their parents about making their career in sports, most of the parents simply deny and asks them to study rather than wasting time in these things. But, this is not the right thing and it is also not right to press their children's wishes. Now, let us gather some knowledge about why sports is necessary and what are the values associated with it.

Whenever we study for too long, our brain needs some rest to be active and this rest we can get by playing some games. Playing games makes not only our brain active but all of our reflexes strong so that we can use them in any situation. Moreover, exercise and sport trigger chemicals in the brain that can make you feel happier and relaxed. Team sports provide a chance to unwind and take part in an activity that improves your fitness. If you play sports outside, you can benefit from fresh air which is said to promote a good night’s sleep.

All sports need some leader who can show their team the right way and also makes decisions related to all the members of the team. Thus, it helps in building leaders. Sports and games also boost up team spirit and make children cooperate with each other. Thus, it promotes teamwork and builds cooperation. Whenever we are in stress, we can play games that can divert our attention from that pressing issue and helps in reducing stress.
