Why Is Yoga The Most Important Sports?

What is Yoga?
Yoga also is known as 'Yog' is actually a Hindu spiritual and a kind of discipline. Yoga includes many different kinds of activities or exercises. It includes breath control, meditation, and specific body postures.
Yoga is widely practised for health and relaxation.

Why should we do Yoga?
Yoga is a very important sport. Everyone whether a normal person or athletes should practice Yoga.
Yoga is better than any other gyming exercises. Yoga improves our strength, flexibility, balance, agility, endurance, core, and overall strength.
Gyming immediately after some time make us look good but it is making our body weak. But Yoga, on the other hand, not show good results at the beginning but it is making our body strong.

Types of Yoga:-
Yoga is mainly divided into two parts:
(1) The First is Pranayama -
The word Pranayama is a combination of two Sanskrit words: 'Prana'(meaning life) and 'Ayama'( meaning to draw out). There are many kinds of breathing exercises done in Yoga which are known as 'Pranayama'. There are a total of 8 pranayamas which are practiced such as:
○(a) AnulomVilom Pranayama- In the AnulomVilom exercise we have to use the thumb and the ring finger. We have to breathe alternatively through only one nostril while the other will be closed. The thumb is used to close the right nostril and the ring finger is used to close the left nostril. During this process, the other nostril is closed using the fingers.
○(b) KapalaBhati Pranayama- KapalaBhati is also known as the breath of fire. The word KapalaBhati is made up of two Sanskrit words: Kapala (meaning skull) and Bhati (meaning shining).
(2) The second is Asana:
The word Asana means the various kinds of body postures which improve many kinds of body problems. It relieves us from neck pain and helps to lose weight. There are in total 84 Asanas which are practised, some of these are mentioned below:-
○(a) Vrikshasana- The word Vrikshasana also called a tree pose is a combination of two Sanskrit words: Vriksha (meaning tree) and Asana ( meaning body posture). It helps in improving a person's balance and strength. In this, we have to put one leg on the other above the thigh or as the doer is comfortable and then join the hands in an upward direction. Then the person has to maintain balance.
○(b) Tadasana- Its name comes from a combination of two Sanskrit words: Tada( meaning mountain) and Asana ( meaning body posture). It is also called a mountain pose. It helps in body growth and increasing height.
Conclusion-
So, We all must practise Yoga for keeping us healthy and away from many of the diseases such as Blood Pressure (BP), Survikl, Gastric,
Thyroid, Stomach Disorders, Back pain and many more diseases.
