Women Education: Changing The World

An education grips a significant role to many people for a variety of reasons. For some, it may be the direction to a desired career or just the next step after high school. For others, attending a university is a way to increase their awareness or exposure to the diverse culture represented on a campus.
In terms of population, India is the second largest country in the world because of the low standard women education. If a woman is illiterate, the future of country would also be uneducated. Women education was the matter of worry in India from the middle age. However, it has been now resolved to a great level. Women education has been given a major priority in India just like men to bring some positive changes in the social and economic structure of the nation. In the past time women were not permitted to go even out of the door of their houses. They were only restricted to the household chores as their education.
Raja Ram Mohan Ray and Iswara Chandra Vidyasagar were some renowned social reformers during the British rule in India. They showed their attention towards the women education. Both man and woman wrap the half population of the country so they are like two sides of the coin and required equal opportunity to participate in the development of country. One cannot exist without other because women are the major part as they give birth to the future generation. If they would be well educated and informed they would give rise to the educated future generation and thus healthy develops social and economic condition in India.
Advantages of Women Education in India:
The female education in India is highly necessary for the successful future of the country as women are the first teachers of their child which means future of the country. If they lack education, it would be the ignorance of the bright future of the nation. An uneducated woman cannot actively participate in handling the family with proper guidance and will not provide proper care of the children and thus it leads to the demotion of future generation. By educating a man, only a man can be educated however educating a woman, whole country can be educated.
Conclusion:
India is now a dominant country in the field of women education. History of India was always filled with brave women philosophers like Gargi, Viswabara, Maritreyi and other famous women are like Mirabai, Durgabati, Ahalyabi, etc. All the famous historical women in India are inspiration for the women of this age. We never forget their contribution for the betterment of society and country.
