Wrestlers spend their entire life in attaining the appropriate structure and built required for their profession. Earlier we used to see that successful wrestlers hailed from foreign countries only, but now the scenario has undergone a change. Even India has generated wrestlers who have proved themselves worldwide. Gone are the days when the Indian mentality rejected the sports of wrestling as a career. Earlier only males used to participate in this sport, but these days women are also showing interest and are getting attracted towards this profession. India has produced great wrestlers like Dara Singh and The Great Khali and Sakshi Malik. A new wrestler has been added in the list i.e. Mahabali Shera, a 24 year old wrestler. He has been roped in for TNA by renowned wrestler Kurt Angle. In a recent interview he stated that Indians enjoy watching wrestling to a great extent but are way too hesitant in taking it up as a career. Everyone prefers to become doctors, engineers, lawyers which is very wrong. This way wrestling scene would soon vanish from India. Indeed there is need to encourage sports like wrestling and young people who are interested must be allowed to train and take the sport as a profession. In case if one wishes to become a successful wrestler, he/ she must follow the following steps:
(1) Improve your body – As we all know that wrestling requires a fit body, therefore the first and the foremost requisite for becoming a wrestler is having a good body.
