WWE: Jinder Mahal

Yuvraj Singh Dhesi known to be Jinder Mahal in the WWE world is an Indian Wrestler. Jinder initiated dis dream of being a wrestler at the Martial Arts Fitness Center in Calgary, Alberta, training with Rick Bognar to carry out his professional wrestling career. Not many people are aware that he is the nephew of legend Gama Singh who was a great Stampede Wrestler. Jinder made his debut in Premier Martial Arts Wrestling (PMW) with a name as Raj Dhesi and thereafter went under training with Allen Coage and Gerry Morrow.  Mahal also won certain tag team championships in Prairie Wrestling Alliance (PWA) and in Stampede, he spend early time in his career teaming with Jr. Dhesi and Singh Jr., who are Gama Singh’s son, basically known to be as Sikh & Destroy and the New Karachi Vice, winning the PWA Tag Team Championship in Canada.

He was the PWA Heavyweight Champion from 2008 until January 2010 in PWA also spent time in Great North Wrestling (GNW), where he fought with wrestlers mainly as Hannibal and Samoa Joe. Mahal debuted in WWE debut on the April 29, 2011 as on the episode of SmackDown, he also greated back stage the superstar Indian wrestler The Great Khali and his manager Ranjin Singh by acknowledging in Punjabi showcasing his happiness and excitement to see the Great Khali and Ranjin. Mahal was initially utilized as an enhancement talent during his starting era with WWE, forming the group with 3MB fellows which were the lower card wrestlers like Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre as before both the Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre were also released from the league in June 2014. Jinder strongly returned to WWE just two years later with a surprisingly highly improvised physique and received a support following WrestleMania 33, achieving a win over Randy Orton at Backlash in May 2017 for the WWE Championship was his one of the biggest achieving’s in the very starting after a rejoin. Thereafter Jinder became the 50th WWE Champion in the history and being the first wrestler of Indian blood to win the WWE Championship title till date. But strangely he lost the title soon in November 2017 to AJ Styles, soon after he had won the WWE United States Championship at WrestleMania 34 in April 2018 in a very Fatal 4-Way match.
