Young Mozart at The Mann: A Musical Cultural Extravaganza

New Delhi, Thursday, October 11, 2018: The Mann School organized an Inter House Instrumental Concert 'Young Mozart' on 18th September, 2018. The largest school - student focused media and holistic development ecosystem, FairGaze provided a live coverage of the same. Around 48 to 50 students participated enthusiastically and performed their musical skills on various instruments like synthesizer, xylophone, dhol, sitar, able, mandolin, santoor, etc.

It was splendid to see every house perform on more than 3 ragas that includes folk and western music. The time allotted to them was 45 minutes. The four categories of the competition were solo, jugalbandi, trio and group. The audience got mesmerized to listen to the tunes of these young and budding musicians. Popular music director and composer, 'Mr. Goldy' and able maestro 'Mr. Ashwini Kumar' made their benign presence and judged the competition. The judges were glad to be a part of this musical concert and appreciated the brilliant performers, their parents and the school as well for their constant support and motivation. Dayanand House took the runners up trophy that was introduced by Pracheen Kala Kendra under the name of Guru M.L. Koser, founder Pracheen Kala Kendra. The beautiful Young Mozart Trophy was bagged by Vyas House. The whole atmosphere was utterly musical. The participating students felt so good after receiving lot recognition and applauses from the audience and the judges.

The Principal of The Mann School, Cdr. V.K. Banga presented a token of regards to the Chief Guest and praised the efforts of all the teachers and the dynamic young musicians.
