Youth, source of endless energy

Youth is that phase of life when one is young or the time between childhood and adulthood. Teen 'age' is an experience that shapes an individual’s level of dependency. In this age, an individual also identifies his/her particular mindset of attitude. The United Nations defines teenagers or youth between the ages of 14 to 21. It is the stage of developing and constructing self-concept.

There is a certain age limit at which an individual is not free, independent to take some decisions or actions. There is a proper age limit for voting, age of consent, driving age, and many others. After reaching these limits, they are free to vote, free to drive cars, etc. Young people spend quality time of their life in educational settings, and their experience in colleges and universities can shape much of their subsequent lives.

Participation in community, organizing for social change is Youth activism. It has led to a drastic shift in political participation and activism. The young activists had contributed and played a major role in public protest, and pushing around many issues like climate change, abortion rights, gun violence, and many others as well. Due to the advancement of technology and increasing engagements on digital media, Social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube have become the new tools for young activists in the 21st century. youth has become more active and has accepted digital media rather than print media.

The youth voice is associated with the successful application of development activities including service training, youth research, and leadership training. Our budding youth is considered as the future power as the leaders of the nation. One of the major qualities of youth is aggression, punctuality, and discipline. They are filled with ideas and principles and do not hesitate to stand against anything wrong going around them. The Young generation doesn't hesitate to fight back against the wrong.

If given opportunity, they are always ready to make out most from it and give out their best. Thus, It is well said that youth is the powerhouse and the storehouse of infinite energy and is the pride of society. Young people have so much potential that if they use it constructively they can lead their society in a path of progress. The dedication, hard work, and the quest for knowledge of the youth will not only help them to lead a satisfied life but will also be their contribution towards society. It is important to realize the role of the youth to educate and motivate people and lead them towards the path of building a better society.
