Transformation in the media landscape involves changes ranging from how content is conceived and presented to arriving of new media platforms as well as business models. Social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok have provided product opportunities to create content that entertains viewers and in the process builds large audiences. This has done a rejig in the industry and changed the position of power where influencers compete favorably with some celebrities based on reach. Nowadays, brands and entertainment companies understand the business value of letting an influencer collaborate to create content leading toward a more vaster and diversified production platform. Second, the invention of social media leads to a fruitful phenomenon for the means of interaction with an audience is now more individualized since fans can contribute to discussions, voice their opinions and feedback about what has been shown as well as change it.
