Do You Know Grit!

Do you know what is meant by the word ‘Grit’? Let's define the word grit. Grit is the regular passion to acquire a long–term goal. Sometimes you will also hear grit referred to as mental toughness. It has been also stated that grit is a strong tracker of success and ability to reach one's goals.
How to Be Mentally Tough
Step 1: Define what grit or mental toughness means?
It might be…. going one month without leaving a workout or delivering your work ahead of schedule for two days. It can also be calling one friend to catch up every Saturday or Sunday per month. Whatever it is, just be clear about what you’re going after.
Step 2: Building grit with small physical wins.
Very often we think that grit is about how we respond to difficult situations, but what about everyday circumstances and daily problems?
Mental toughness is similar to a muscle. It needs to be worked on for growth and develop. Choose to do the tenth rep when it would be easier to just finish the nine. Always Choose to create when it would be easier to grasp. Select to ask the extra questions when it would be so easy to accept. Prove yourself in a thousand tiny ways — that you have enough guts to get into the ring and to defeat the consequences of life.
Step 3: Build strong habits and stop depending on motivation.
Grit is not about getting an incredible advice of inspiration or courage. It’s all about building the daily habits that will make you to stick to a schedule and to overcome the challenges and distractions over and again. Mentally tough people don’t need to be more courageous or talented, or more intelligent.
Grit also comes down to your habits. It’s just about doing the things you know you are required to do on a regular basis. It’s about your dedication to daily practice and your ability to stick to a perfect schedule.
Just have an overview of some examples
• Mentally tough athletes are more consistent than other players. They never miss their workout or miss assignments. They always have their teammates back for support.
• Mentally tough artists, writers, and employees always deliver on a more consistent basis than most of the employees . They work on a schedule, not only when they feel motivated. These employees approach their work like a pro, not an amateur. They do the most important thing first and never shirk their responsibilities.
