Good News for Class 10th and 12th Students

As the board exams for class 10th and 12th approach we start hearing about cases of stress, depression, anxiety and suicide among the students. Every year thousands or maybe hundreds of students face depression and many of them attempt suicide. This is all because of the increasing pressure on the young minds in the present competitive world. In order to provide relief to the students of class 10 and 12, the CBSE has decided to bring forth a new change. The CBSE has decided to provide more internal choices to the students. The CBSE shall increase the internal choices that are provided in the question paper to the students. The choices will be increased in some of the subjects for classes 10th and 12th only. The increase will be such that it will up the choices for candidates by 33% in all the sections and for each type of questions. CBSE has also launched some sample question papers and marking scheme to make it easy for the students to understand the new pattern. Presently almost 20,700 schools are affiliated to the CBSE board and each of them will have to abide by the new pattern. The subjects for class 10th and 12^th wherein the CBSE board will be providing more internal choices are as follows:

The CBSE Board is planning to implement these changes from the forthcoming class 10th and 12th board exams that will be held in the month of February/ March/ April next year. The board is yet to release the exact dates of the examinations on its official website.
