History Of The Indus Valley Civilization

The Indus valley civilization is one of the major civilizations of the ancient river valley civilization of the world from 3300BC to 1700BC. According to research published within the respected journal Nature, this civilization is a minimum of 8000 years old. Also called the Harappa civilization and "Indus- Saraswati civilization, it developed along the banks of the Indus and therefore the hakra. Harappa, Mohenjo-Daro, kalibanga, and rakhigarhi were its major centers. In December 2014, bhirdana is taken into account to be the oldest discovered city of the Indus valley civilization far and away. Archaeologists and historians based on excavations in the British period have speculated that it was a highly developed civilization and these cities have been inhabited and desolated many times.

This civilization was spread in the Indus river valley; hence it was named as Indus valley civilization. It is also called the first urbanization due to the rise of cities for the first time. Due to the use of bronze for the first time, it is also called bronze civilization. 1400 centers of Indus valley civilization are discovered, of which 925 centers are in India. 80 percent of the location is within the vicinity of the Saraswati River and its tributaries.

The area of civilization was many times larger and larger than the area of all ancient civilizations of the world. The centers of this mature civilization were in Punjab and Sindh. Subsequently, it expanded in the south and east direction. Thus, under the Harappa culture, Punjab was not only a part of Sindh and Baluchistan, but also the marginal parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, and western Uttar Pradesh. The life of the people of Harappa was very pleasant and peaceful. The Harappa community lived in a rural area. He was a man of very good thoughts and helpers; he was not dangerous at all. The houses where people lived in big cities had a length of five feet and a width of 97 feet. Their buildings consisted of two-room houses.

Before the information geologists believed that human civilization originated from the Aryans. But after getting the evidence of Sindhughati, their confusion cleared up and they had to accept that the civilization of ancient India had developed years before the arrival of the Aryans.
