
It's A Drilling Process To Open And Run A Private School In India

The compliances and regulations is making it difficult to run an education institution. Let's discuss some of the norms and standards that you have to follow if you want to open and run a private school in India.
First, you have to make sure that there are minimum teachers according to students from classes I to VIII. Second, the building requirements like playground, kitchen etc. should be met. Third, there is a minimum level set for working days in one year. Fourth, there is set number of hours for working of teachers. Fifth, there should proper teaching aid in every class. Sixth, proper library should be made. And last of all, sports equipment.
After these norms are fulfilled, all schools have to fill a form that has several declarations like school is not run for profit, it conforms to values enshrined in our constitution, it is open to inspection officer of the state, etc. Then, the District Education Officer (DEO) carries inspection to make sure all the requirements are met.
And if these were not enough, all the states have their own requirements that need to be met. Even boards such as CBSE have some criteria for the schools. Certainly, it takes a lot to open and run a private school in India.
