To have the best parenting of the teens during the lockdown, one must inculcate their ward with below-mentioned skills:

Cooking Skills: Parents must introduce their teenage child to the kitchen and culinary skills. This will help the child to develop life skills and support him/ her in any unfavourable circumstances. They must be taught how to cook healthy recipes faster and easier.

1. Doing Yoga and Meditation: It is very essential for a child to do Yoga and meditation in the morning to calm down the changes their body goes through during teenage. It helps them to be more focused and alert.

Handling household chores and emergencies: They must be engaged in household activities like cleaning utensils and clothes. Also, must be taught on how to operate basic amenities like changing gas cylinder, filling inverter water, using a fire extinguisher, changing bulbs, etc.

2. Maintaining Mental Health: Lockdown is a serious time for many parents. They need to be conscious of how they deal with their crisis and problems. Children especially of teenage perceive and follow what their elders do. Their management skills will help the child to develop himself/ herself too among all the difficulties.
