People May Not Be Ready for The Space Tour

According to the NASA astronaut, the people who have signed up for the trip to space with the space tourism companies may not be ready for the same. The Russian Space Agency, Roscosmos is only company that has taken the tourists into space at a cost between $20 and 40 million between the years 2001 and 2009 till date. Blue Origin, Virgin Galactic and SpaceX are some of the aerospace companies that are supposing to launch commercial flights within the next decades. Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio and other hundreds of people have already bought tickets. Anna Fisher is a NASA astronaut who became the first mother in space. She has warned and showed concern that people who are paying such a huge amount may not be prepared and appreciate what might happen.  Fisher said, “It’s not like riding a commercial aircraft, not at all, and I can see all these problems with people up there and throwing up and messing up somebody’s flight that they paid USD 250,000 for”. A research conducted in 2016 from the US has also discovered that the astronauts who have been to space for lunar missions are more prone to cardiovascular diseases.
