Editorials News | Jun-08-2018
Due to the properties of saving time, energy and resources of students the virtual courses are rapidly replacing the class room coaching. Students find it difficult to match the speed with the teachers in the overcrowded classes when it comes to competitive exams coaching such as JEE Mains and Advanced, NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test), CPT (Common Proficiency Test), BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test) State level CET’s (Common Entrance Test), AIIMS etc.
CEO and co-founder of personalized learning app for students, ZishaanHayath says “Digital products help students, as they offer personalized learning and making well-tailored content available on across geographies. It also enables them to amplify their strengths and weaknesses. The virtual coaching is helpful for the students as they can discuss their problems through chatting with the experts at any time. Dr. YK Gupta, former dean, Academics at AIIMS says “virtual coaching makes sense when course content is not a cut and paste job. The teaching material should be credible and prepared by experts”. The tools of virtual coaching include video lectures that can be played and replayed any number of times while understanding a new concept or revising an old,Test and practice questions and doubt clarification on chat, even the students can access the professors or reference material at any time.
