Virtual Interactive Classrooms

Virtual interaction is here to stay as it has the ability to transport users from different locations to a whole new environment in a completely believable way. When it comes to education virtual classes offer endless possibilities. Whether engaging students in interactive learning experiences to practical training simulations, both for teachers and students alike.

A team of Googlers in 2014, which also included several former teachers started interacting with educators and learned that the teachers actually loved using Google suite's collaborative tools to interact with their students. Google has been trying to simplify technology so that student and teachers can spend more time on learning.

Initially it was designed as one classroom for both teachers and students to share content and ideas, but it got kind of crowded and hard to locate what they wanted or needed as there was too many information in one place and that too from different sources.

However, the new Google Classroom is developed in a way that it simplifies creating and distributing and at the same time grading assignments in a paperless way. It combines Google drive for creating assignments and distributing them. Google docs sheets and slides for writing and use Google mail for communicating with the teacher and with other fellow students. They also use the Google calendar to schedule their classes and assignments.

Each class creates a folder in a drive assigned for the class and the students can submit their work to be graded and returned by the teacher with necessary comments.
